Minister of Federal Territories, Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Adnan said, “We believe the Baiti Jannati@Wilayah Persekutuan Programme is a very good project which will bring a lot of benefits for needy people living within Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. It will lessen their worries about having proper accommodations, thus enabling them to focus on other things which will help to improve their lives. After all, we want all KL-ites to be able to own a home and live comfortably within the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur.”

To date, Mah Sing has 22 projects in Kuala Lumpur. Aside from developing good projects for homebuyers, we also want to give back to the society and aid those in need. When we came to know of the Baiti Jannati@Wilayah Persekutuan Programme by Badan Amal Kasih Ibu WP, we realised that this is a very good platform where we support to aid the needy ones.”

Mah Sing Foundation’s Chairman, Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman bin Syed Kamarulzaman also said, “We applaud the work that was done by Badan Amal Kasih Ibu WP as the organisation puts the best interest of the needy ones at heart. Working together with the Ministry of Federal Territories and DBKL, the programme aims to elevate the living conditions of the less fortunate within Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The programme’s objective is to provide a comfortable shelter, especially to single parents, underprivileged senior citizens and the disabled.”

Dato’ Indera Syed further added that this programme is in line with two of Mah Sing Foundation’s three new key pillars in aiding the unfortunate which are enhancing the health & well-being and community development. “By enabling the needy families to own their home, we are able to enhance their well-being by providing comfortable living conditions. This will in turn contribute to community development.”
